Need help with Silhouette, found a bug, or want to request a feature? You are in the right place. We read every issue and try to reply within a few working days.
Send feedback
The quickest route, and the right one for most things: the feedback form. No account, and nothing is posted publicly — which matters here, because a bug in Silhouette usually involves the images you were working on. An email address is optional; leave it blank and the report is anonymous.
Opening it from inside the app (Help → Send Feedback) fills in your Silhouette version, macOS version, Mac model and language. You can see all four on the page before you send, edit them, or clear them — the app itself never transmits anything, and it never sends anything about your files.
Open a public issue
The fastest way to get help is to open a GitHub issue on our public tracker. Your report is visible to everyone, which means other users can chime in with context and see when the fix ships.
You can also browse previously reported issues — your question may already have an answer.

Before you write
A few details speed things up. Please include:
- Silhouette version. Menu bar → Silhouette → About Silhouette.
- macOS version. Apple menu → About This Mac.
- Mac model. Apple Silicon (M1 / M2 / M3 / M4).
- Steps to reproduce. What you did, what you expected, what happened instead.
- Screenshots or a short screen recording if the issue is visual.
System requirements
- macOS 26 or later
- Apple Silicon (M1 or later) — Silhouette is Apple Silicon only
- Roughly 500 MB of free disk space for the app, plus extra space per downloaded matting model
